On Thursday Kobe called the fans in Denver stupid for booing Melo.
Tonight, he just went dumb (in the good way), scoring 14 points in the 3rd quarter, 18 overall, and bringing the Lakers to their first win in Denver in five games. Five players scored in double figures for us, and Lamar & Pau each had double doubles.
In Kobe’s red hot third quarter the Lakers outscored...

The Lakers lost for just the second time in their last 10 games Wednesday with a 109-100 road loss to the Mavs. Pau Gasol scored 23 points as he eclipsed the 13,000-point plateau for his career. Both Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom pitched in with double-doubles in a losing effort.

We can pretty much count on every game against OKC being really good.
This was the first time the Lakers faced the Thunder since the playoffs last year where they scared the hell out of a lot of Laker fans (me included), and just like last year they seemed to bring the best out of Kobe & Co.
Kobe and Pau each had 21, Kobe throwing in seven assists and Pau seven boards. Talk...

You gotta love it when the Lakers click. Even more when the other team doesn’t.
The Lakers won their 4th straight and 1st without reserve Matt Barnes, easily beating the New York Knicks. A win over the Knicks isn’t shabby though, they’re 21-15 and playing really good ball. Unfortunately for them, so are the Lakers.
Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol had their way with the Knicks...

Three straight, woo woo woo, swag swag swag!
Okay, maybe a modest three-game winning streak isn’t something to be extremely happy about but given the circumstances you can’t blame me for being excited that the Lakers have put together three straight solid games and come out with the W.
Pau Gasol had his best game of the new year with 21 points and 13 rebounds, alongside Andre...

Talk about a balanced win.
Five Lakers scored in double-digits, Kobe leading them with 24 as the Lakers beat the Suns. They had strong 1st & 3rd quarters, outscoring Phoenix by 15 in those two quarters. Most importantly perhaps, they only committed 10 turnovers which has been a major issue in the past couple of weeks.
Shannon Brown led the bench with 13 points, and Lamar...

LOS ANGELES (AP) Pau Gasol scored 21 points and the Los Angeles Lakers finally found a sub.-500 team they could beat easily, winning 108-83 against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
Kobe Bryant added 17 points, moving him past Dominique Wilkins into 10th on the NBA’s career scoring list with 26,671. Andrew Bynum finished with 13 points after scoring eight of the Lakers’...

I actually don’t have much commentary for this game. This was the first game all season that I didn’t watch because I was busy watching my Rams lose. Looks like I didn’t really miss anything.
This was the third game this season that we’ve lost by 16 or more points. Embarrassing. Oh, and it was in L.A. Kobe went off in the first 7 minutes of the second half, scoring 13 points and...
